I make pancakes every Saturday morning for breakfast and am having a ton of new fun trying and inventing new recipes. I wanted to tease with some recent photos to encourage everyone to bug me until I remember to post the recipes.
Comments with your favorite pancake recipes, I’d love to try them!

This one’s One!
by Lori Ann
Guess who’s one entire year old?

She got blocks:

books and puzzles galore:

her first taste of chocolate:

and these awesome pants from my Yi (local minority) friend:

With the sad exception of living nearer grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on… what more could a girl want!?
Excavation

No, we certainly did not find all of the above items under the couch at one time. No, Baba is not right 90% of the time when he answers “probably under the couch” to any “where is …?” question. No, Tigger does not hide plastic bottles like a puppy buries bones. No, there is not only one actual toy in the collection we found.
And, in case you weren’t sure: yes, this is a “Not-Me Monday*” post.
What did you absolutely NOT do today?

March Smiles
by Lori Ann

Tigger’s always been a very smiley girl (well, a very expressive girl… but her happy times definitely outweigh the emotional lows!), but it seems to just increase as she gets older. And with those teeth? All the more adorable. Here’s a look over March and a few of the smiles it brought!

It’s so much more fun learning to walk in an interesting place like a village courtyard. Just look as this cool log-stool!

Okay, so this one’s the opposite, but I couldn’t resist. She wasn’t so excited about her first bull fight!

Having fun with Baba
Showing off how cute she is in Grandpa’s shirt… even despite the black eye!

I'm wife to Baba and Mama to our toddler girl known online as "Tigger". I enjoy knitting wool hats, baking mini muffins, traveling rural Asia, dancing with Tigger around the living room, and reading stories from experienced mothers around the world.
